The Pen

The year was 2022, a boy named Naughty Nigal was walking into the science class. His teacher, Mr. Whiz told him to sit down. Nigal was four minutes late. His lab partner,  Calamity Jane glanced at Nigal and said nothing. Nigal was always late for class, so every- one was used to him coming to class late. Nigal was tall, funny, and had blonde hair. Every- one liked him. His partner, Jane was tall, serious and had curly brown hair. A lot of kids were afraid of her.

Soon it was time to work with lab partners. Every pair of partners had to invent a new invention. Nigal and Jane were working on a pen that could erase peoples minds. The reason that they chose this was because of an old movie they saw called, "Men In Black".  There was only two weeks left until the project was due so Nigal and Jane were working quickly. They were in such a big hurry that they forgot to put on goggles. They also weren't careful when they were melting things like plastic. The teacher was walking by and gave them a detention for not being safe.

That afternoon, Nigal and Jane were serving their detention. The teacher, 
Ms. Hannibal turned on the radio to listen to music. She was listening to a country station. Nigal and Jane both hated country. The country station building was right out the window. Nigal could see the billboard on top with a cowboy drinking Pepsi. He could see Jane falling asleep next to him. Nigal started to fall asleep too. He looked out of the window again and was thinking about how cool it could be to erase peoples minds. Just then he saw three planes crash into the country stations' building! He heard people  screaming and car alarms. Jane almost fell out of her seat. Ms. Hannibal didn't notice
until the music on the radio stopped. "Okay, stay calm!" she exclaimed. 

A few minutes later, I saw two jets fly right to our school! They got closer and closer. Then boom! Pieces were flying everywhere.

"Wake up Nigal" yelled Ms. Hannibal. Detention was over. Nigal was only dreaming.  He couldn't believe it. 

The next day in science class, Nigal and Jane were working on their project. Jane was eating her snack while working. Then she drank out of some chemical bottle on the table.  The teacher saw her and gave her a detention.

It took nine days to finish making the mind eraser pen. "I don't think that it works!" said Nigal. "Let me see!" said Jane. She pressed the middle button. She was pointing it at Mr. Whiz. "Hey" said Mr. Whiz. Nigal looked over to see that the pen had melted. "There goes our science project!" groaned Jane. Mr. Whiz walked over, "You two get an A". "Why" said Jane? "You just did the greatest thing to me. You cleaned my brain.  I feel excellent!" "Wow" said Nigal.

Years later, Nigal and Jane became famous for making pens that remove tumors and  other things inside your head. That is how Nigal and Jane became famous.
