Who is the person that you always see?
I am afraid to come any nearer
Because surely that person isn't me.

Little girl when you couldn't sleep last night
What was it that kept you awake so long?
Did it make you want to cry out in fright?
Or had you known it was there all along?

Little girl will you leave me alone please?
I know who you are, what you want to do.
I know that sometimes you're afraid to breathe.
