Interested in helping to build a more humane community? Become a Volunteer at the Monadnock Humane Society and be a part of something wonderful! Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age to volunteer at MHS. Volunteers, ages 14 and 15, must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older at all times. Likewise, Volunteers are required to attend trainings specific to areas of interest to ensure safe and appropriate animal handling, personal safety, disease control and proper animal cleaning protocols.

Anyone wishing to participate in MHS's Volunteer Program should contact the Program Coordinator at 352-9011, ext. 147 or jessicap@humanecommunity.org. MHS staff will work with teachers, program coordinators, and guardians/caregivers to establish an appropriate program for interested groups and/or individuals.
