What kind
of information is considered for the "Whats' Up"
page?
- Upcoming
events (school, comunity or otherwise), programs, dances,
opportunities,
scholarships, trainings, retreats, support groups, camps
and services
for youth audiences that promote safe, healthy and
substance-free lifestyles.
Information
for the site must be free from statements that promote
discriminatory
policies or practices based on race, religion, ethnicity,
age,
gender, national origin, language, sex, sexual
orientation, or physical handicap.
organizations that promote the above are not invited to
post information
on the site.
We
will refrain from the distribution of material that
promotes any political
party or candidate at this time. Ongoing programs will
only be listed
on the site if we have adequate room.
Who is
invited to post information on the "What's Up"
page?
Youth-serving,
non-profit programs, agencies, schools, school clubs,
youth groups,
businesses and other groups and organizations in the
Monadnock Region
who promote safe, healthy and substance-free lifestyles
for youth. Any
contact persons listed must be associated with
professional agencies, programs,
schools or groups that comply with industry standards
around safe practice
for youth programs (background checks, professional
development, accredidation
etc.) Other
agencies may participate on the page if they are
registered with the Secretary
of State or the New Hampshire Attorney General's
Charitable Trusts Division
or are associated with agencies and organizations that
comply.
